ILAP provides clients with multiple options to ensure connectivity
to the Internet worldwide.
1-800 Service
Our 1-877-ilap-naw (1-877-452-7629)
number enables you to connect from anywhere in Canada and
the Continental United States for a cost of $0.12/min.CA.
The 800 service is ideal for occasional or short (1 or 2 day)
travel throughout Canada and Continental USA.
Extra software does not need to be
downloaded and configured. Only the dialup number needs to
be changed. There is no sign-up fee or application for this
service. This number must be used in the configuration of
your dialing properties on your computer to enable a connection.
For our client's protection, this number does not work within
your local dial area.
Global Access-iPass Service
ILAP is also an iPass network member, which provides global
Internet access to the Internet and email with a local call
from more than 8,000 access points throughout 150 countries.
The IPass service is ideal for extended and Global travel,
or for long-duration Internet usage.
An application and a one-time $15 setup
fee are required for these services. Software is available
for downloading from the Internet Light and Power website
(ilap.com). This will allow you to log in from almost anywhere
in the world. The fee per minute is determined by iPass and
is provided upon completion of the software download. Typical
fees range from $4.30/hr. U.S. in the United States to $12.50/hr.
U.S. in Zurich.
SPECIFICATIONS
ILAP provides Global Access capabilities
for a one-time setup fee of $15.00. Per second rates are set
by iPass (as displayed within your Global Access software).
