Career Description

ILAP requires a Senior Oracle Database Developer with Strong Oracle 10g and Forms 6 experience to join its Development team. ILAP has over 12 years of experience in the development of Internet-focused systems for the North American market.

Qualified candidates must have over 5 years of Oracle development experience; must have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Internet-focused applications with Oracle database, PL/SQL, and Forms. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

• Strong experience in Oracle development practices and standards.
• Significant experience in doing maintenance, mainly involving Oracle 10g and Forms 6.
• Significant experience in doing upgrade conversion projects from Oracle Forms 6 to J2EE technologies.
• Enterprise Java (J2EE - servlet, JSP, JDBC) and XML essential.
  

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Five years of progressively more challenging project assignments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working on multiple development projects simultaneously.
• Business systems development background an asset.
• Oracle certified professional (OCP) certification is preferred.
